Engineers need to find suitable replacement electrical components and review them with CTH, perform tests if necessary, and then release the components in the system.?Engineers also need to attend meetings with the spare parts team to understand the priority of the task.?The following are the job requirements for this position:?Understand and write the requirements for electrical, electronic, and computer-based components used in control systems.?Use engineering analysis and / or testing to determine the appropriate replacement parts? Identify application requirements for subsystem and system level components to ensure replacement parts provide equal or better control system performance.?Familiarize yourself with the configuration of embedded software or driver software to determine which components require software configuration.?Use engineering processes (DPP, ACH, GRV) and tools (EPIM, Teamcenter) to identify and record engineering data related to components.?Cooperate with other engineers and designers to execute projects - teamworkers ?Participate in and communicate with global teams to manage projects and review engineering work.
